Crane Workers Burn Aircraft Flares To Ensure Accurate Burn Times

(CRANE) - Crane Army Ammunition Activity workers burn aircraft flares to ensure accurate burn times.

The U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy use the flares and depend on sufficient burn periods to produce infrared (IR) signatures that can confuse enemy missiles.
