10-Year-Old Detained Following Threats At Lincoln Elementary School

(BEDFORD) - A 10-year-old boy was detained at Lincoln Elementary School Monday afternoon after he made threats to harm the school and students.

Superintendent Gary Conner and local police quickly responded to the school at 2:52 p.m. to swiftly ensure the safety and security of students at staff.

"At no time were any of our Lincoln students in harms way," says school principal Angela Girgis. "The incident was dealt with and has been resolved."

Girgis thanked Superintendent Conner and local officers for the caring of the students and staff.

"The safety and security of our students will never be taken lightly."
