(SULLIVAN CO.) - Police arrested two men in connection to the robbery of First Financial Bank in Farmersburg.

Police arrested 21-year-old Steven Perry of Terre Haute at his home at 8:45 p.m. on Friday. He was preliminary charged with robbery and was believed to be the suspect who entered the bank and demanded money.

Police also arrested 22-year-old Danny Pegg of Terre Haute at his home on Friday afternoon. He was preliminary charged with robbery and was believed to have driven the getaway vehicle.

Detectives credit the bank video footage and multiple tips from the community for helping them solve this case in less than 72 hours.

Indiana State Police say that Perry handed a teller a note demanding money at about 4 p.m., on Dec. 26th.

"No weapons were displayed but threats were allegedly inferred," Sgt. Joe Watts said in the release. No one was injured in the incident."

Perry then fled on foot. A police dog lost the Perry's trail north of the bank that is located at Main Street and US 41. Police say Perry got into a nearby vehicle driven by Pegg and fled the scene.
