(NEEDMORE) - Lawrence County Police arrested two people after being found in a stolen Ford F-150 parked in Hopkins Cemetery.

On Friday at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sergeant Blackburn was patrolling the Needmore area when he and came across a white Ford F150 truck parked in Hopkins Cemetery.

The occupants of the truck 37-year-old Kenneth Voak, of Ladtsmith, WI. and 32-year-old Jacqulyne Watts, of 32, Lawndale, NC., claimed to be on their way to North Carolina to attend a funeral.

The license plate and VIN were checked and returned as a stolen truck from Missouri.

"After running each of the occupants through IDACS/NCIC it was determined that Watts had an outstanding warrant for Grand Theft Auto out of North Carolina and Voak had an outstanding warrant for unpaid child support out of Virginia," added Sheriff Mike Branham. "Neither jurisdiction would extradite. Columbia Missouri Police Department confirmed that the truck was reported stolen and the truck was impounded with a hold for them."

During an inventory of the truck, Sergeant Blackburn and Officer Merriman found a glass smoking device that smelled liked burned marijuana and a green-leafy substance that smelled like raw marijuana. The green leafy substance field tested positive for marijuana.

Voak and Watts were transported to Lawrence County Jail on preliminary charges possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen auto parts.
