(BEDFORD) - On Thursday night the North Lawrence Community School board approved a proposal to consolidate the middle school football program.
Board members last month heard about the challenges of maintaining separate teams at Bedford, Oolitic and Shawswick middle schools because of the declining number of students wanting to play football.
Beginning in the 2018-19 school year there will be one unified team.
