Medora Man Dies From Injuries Suffered In Accident

(MEDORA) - A 38-year-old Medora man injured in a one-vehicle wreck on Dec. 26th died on Sunday.

Phillip Meade passed away at 10:23 p.m. at the University of Louisville Hospital.

Meade had crashed his vehicle in the 10820 block of North Haleysburg Road near Vallonia at 2:35 p.m. and was found trapped inside the car.

Meade, who was found unconscious and had suffered severe head injuries, was flown to Louisville after the wreck.

The funeral for Meade; who was a carpenter and the father of two children, PJ and Peyton; will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hague Funeral Home in Medora. Calling will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
