Martin County Sheriff's Office Seeking Candidates For Deputy And Jail Officer

(SHOALS) - The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking qualified candidates for deputy and jail officer positions.

Minimum Requirements:

Be a citizen of the United States
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Have eyesight correctable to 20/20
Cannot have any Felony, Battery misdemeanor or Domestic Violence convictions
Pass a written entry-level examination
Pass physical examination / agility testing
Submit to drug screening, psychological testing and a Polygraph/Voice Stress Analysis
Possess a valid driver's license from the State of Indiana
Submit to being fingerprinted
Submit to a character and background investigation, which includes but is not
limited to:
- your credit rating
- your previous and current employment
- your driving record
- any criminal records
- interviews conducted with family members and/or friends
May be required to appear for a panel interview
