Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Traffic Stop On Highway 150

(SALEM) - A Carlisle man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop.

Saturday evening, shortly after 5:30 p.m., an Indiana state trooper stopped a Honda Accord on Highway 150 at Lapping Road in Hardinsburg.

During the traffic stop the trooper discovered that the driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Jason Hill of Carlisle, was driving without a valid driver's license.

During a search of Hill's pockets police found more than 30 grams of meth, marijuana, syringes, eight pills and drug paraphernalia.

Hill was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail, where jail officers found more meth in his underwear.

Hill is facing charges of possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to deal, possession of marijuana and a controlled substance, unlawful possession of syringes and drug paraphernalia, trafficking with an inmate and tampering with physical evidence.
