(LOOGOOTEE) - Indiana State Police arrested a Loogootee woman Wednesday while investigating a reported fight in progress at Northeast First Street and the railroad tracks in Loogootee.

The trooper was unable to find a fight, but he did smell marijuana coming from an apartment at 103 Northeast First Street.

24-year-old Jasmine Jones gave troopers permission to search her apartment.

They found items commonly associated with marijuana and two male juveniles in the apartment.

The juveniles were turned over to family members.

Jones was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, neglect of a dependent, contributing to the delinquency of minors, possession of drug paraphernalia and false informing.

Jailers found additional drug paraphernalia on Jones while she was being booked into the Martin County Jail.
