The IU Crimson all-girl cheerleading team placed fifth.

(UNDATED) - The IU Crimson all-girl cheerleading team placed fifth in the All Girl Division IA at the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship on Sunday.

This is the second time in seven years the team has not placed first in the competition, and the fifth place finish snapped the two-year title streak the team had going into the season.

The University of Oklahoma took first in the division, University of Alabama took second and University of Nevada, Las Vegas took third.
