(SEYMOUR) - Three Seymour area churches plan to offer nine-week Financial Peace University courses this month.
Financial Peace University is operated by syndicated columnist Dave Ramsey and is designed to teach families and individuals how to handle their money through common-sense principles and small-group accountability.
The times, dates and location for the first class are:

6 p.m. Jan. 28, Reddington Christian Church, 10516 N. U.S. 31. Visit fpu.com/1052766 for information or to register.
Lessons include budgeting, relationships and money, getting out of debt, saving for emergencies and investing.
After each lesson, the group meets in smaller groups to help and encourage each other, plan budgets and discuss successes and temptations.
