Crane Army Produces Flares, Helps Protect Troops

(CRANE) - Crane Army Ammunition Activity employees produce MJU 61 A/B flares for use on military aircraft.

These flares produce an infrared (IR) signature to confuse enemy missiles and are essential to protecting Warfighters serving in harm's way. Hayley Smith provided the following photos of the flares being made at Crane Army Ammunition Activity.
