(BROWNSTOWN) - The Brownstown Town Council has changed its meeting dates for January.
Meetings are now set for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8 and Monday, Jan. 22 at Brownstown Town Hall, 200 W. Walnut St.
The dates were changed because of holidays falling on the first and third Monday of the month.
From February on, the council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Monday unless it falls on a major holiday. In that instance, the meeting would be moved to the day after the holiday.
