Bedford Police Arrest Five During Drug Investigation

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Drug Task Force arrested five people after they received a tip of possible drug activity at a home in the 2420 block of J Street on Monday.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers received information that meth was being sold out of the home.

Arrested were:

  • Angela Jewell, 20, of 2421 J St., on charges of dealing and possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.
  • Kenneth Clark, 23, of 706 19th St., on charges of dealing and possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance
  • Destiny Smith, 22, of 328 M St., on of possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance
  • Dustin Ross, 28, of 2236 H St., on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance
  • Kagen Hodges, 29, homeless, on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance

During a search of the home police found meth, meth packaged to sell, suboxone, syringes, marijuana and smoking devices.
