Mitchell Man Arrested after Choking Woman during Domestic Fight

(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after police say he choked a woman during a domestic dispute at a home in the 800 block of Davey Cox Road.

When police arrived at the home at 3:45 p.m. they found a female victim who told police 32-year-old Kyle Edwards had choked her during an argument.

According to Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, the woman said Edwards choked her after she refused to drive him to another location he wanted to go to.

The woman suffered redness to her neck area.

Edwards was arrested without incident on charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
