(VALLONIA) - A Medora man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday in the 10820 block of North Haleysburg Road.
According to a Washington County Sheriff's Department report, 38-year-old Phillip Meade was found unconscious and trapped inside of his vehicle.
He was flown by helicopter to the University of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. According to family members, Meade suffered severe head injuries and is currently in a coma.
Assisting at the scene were Indiana State Police troopers, Washington County Ambulance Service, Jefferson Township and Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Departments and Salem Fire Department.
Captain Ryan Larrimore with the Sheriff's Department is investigating the crash.
