Four Arrested After Police Find Drugs In Salem Home

(SALEM) - Four people were arrested after police served a felony warrant at a home at 2696 West State Road 56 on Monday afternoon.

Officers from the Washington County Sheriff's Department and Salem Police Department went to the home at 3:24 a.m. to arrest the homeowner Craig Meredith.

When officers knocked on the door, Meredith attempted to flee the home on foot. Police were able to capture Meredith after a short foot pursuit.

While at the home officers found drug items in plain view and obtained a search warrant for the home.

During the search police located meth, drug paraphernalia and Spice. They also found evidence of dealing the drugs.

Police arrested three others inside the home.

Brandon S. Fremody, 25, of Salem, on charges of possession of meth, possession of a synthetic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, visiting a common nuisance and dealing in a synthetic drug

Assisting in the arrest and search were Officers Chad Webb and Russell Wilcoxson of the Salem City Police Department and Deputies Brad Naugle, Tory Hildreth and Allen Taylor of the Washington County Sheriff's Department. Officer Chad Webb is the Lead Investigator in this case.
