(BEDFORD) - For the second consecutive year, Duke Energy is recognizing three economic development partners, including Shance Sizemore, CEO of Lawrence County Economic Growth Council and the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, for his outstanding efforts in helping bring growth and economic development to Lawrence County.

Others receiving the 2017 Partner Achievement Award are:

  • Hendricks County Economic Development Partnership, comprising Jeff Pipkin, Lora Steele and Katelyn Hurt
  • Sarah Salisbury, site search specialist at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation

"Each of these individuals consistently demonstrates an eagerness to work with Duke Energy to help attract new business and industry to the communities in our service territory," said Erin Schneider, Duke Energy Indiana director of economic development. "We are grateful for their partnership and commitment to the vital task of economic growth."

The Partner Achievement Award is not based on any specific metric, but rather is more about local and regional economic development organizations building successful long-term relationships with Duke Energy.
