(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman suffered hip and upper leg pain after she lost control of her moped on Tunnelton Road after striking a pot hole.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 39-year-old Samantha East, of 2904 Ted Jones Dr., was traveling south on Tunnelton Road when her 2013 Honda NCH50 struck a pothole.
Police say that East swerved to miss the pothole but was unable to avoid it. The moped went to the ground and East struck the pavement.
