(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested after she crashed her vehicle on Tunnelton Road early Monday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 32-year-old Nichole Whitner was traveling west on Tunnelton Road near Horseshoe Lane when her 2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am slid off the wet road and into a ditch.
Whitner complained of back pain and was taken to IU Health Hospital for treatment. Police requested a blood draw for the suspicion of driving under the influence.
After being treated, Whitner was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, unlawful possession of a syringe and on a warrant for petition to revoke.
