Bedford Woman Arrested after Domestic Fight

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested after a Lawrence County police were called to a domestic fight in the 3000 block of Gil Gal Road Sunday afternoon.

According to Lawrence County Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, when officers arrived they found a female victim had suffered a cut and bleeding to her left eye area.

"The victim was subsequently transported to IU Health Hospital for treatment," says Chief Deputy Shoults.

Police arrested 28-year-old Laura Deaville, of GM Drive, without incident on a charge of domestic battery in the presence of a minor.
