(MITCHELL) - Two people were injured in an accident Wednesday at the intersection of State Road 37 and State Road 60 West.
According to a Mitchell Police report, 56-year-old Deirdre Wyman of Hardinsburg was traveling south on State Road 37 and was crossing the intersection with the green light when her 2006 Chevrolet Uplander was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 62-year-old James Russell of Mitchell.
Police say Russelll disregarded the red light.
Wyman suffered chest pains. Russell complained of neck pain. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
