(PAOLI) - The Orange County Historical Society is finalizing plans for its upcoming Holiday Open House at the Museum set for Sunday, November 19th from 1 to 4 p.m.

The event is being held in conjunction with the annual Paoli Merchants Christmas Open House. The newly updated exhibit areas will be open that afternoon to visitors.

There will be no admission charged; however donations will be accepted to go towards continual renovation efforts at the museum.

The group will also have its Holiday Market set up that day in the downstairs "Family Room" with gift giving ideas for the history buff on your Christmas list this year.

There will be a drawing for a beautiful handmade quilt during the event.

"We would like to extend a special invitation to everyone to stop in and say hello during the Open House event and view some of the updates that have been made at the Museum this past year," OCHS President Robert Henderson says.

This will be the last time the Museum will be open for the season outside of appointment for individuals and/or small groups.

A new temporary exhibit has been prepared upstairs spotlighting the county's sports and leisure activities through the decades.
