(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man reported he was blackmailed after communicating with a woman on MeetMe.
The man reported the crime late Tuesday afternoon.
The man told police he was speaking to a woman on the social media app, when she asked him to send her some nude photos of himself.
The man told police he sent the photos and that is when he received a message threatening he would be reported to police unless he paid her $800.
Police attempted to call the phone number the woman used and found it was invalid.
