Flags To Be Flown At Half-Staff For Daviess County Firefighter

(UNDATED) - Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags in Daviess County to be flown at half-staff to honor Kendall Murphy, a volunteer firefighter with the Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department. Murphy died in the line of duty while responding to a vehicle accident.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on the day of his funeral, Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Gov. Holcomb also asks businesses and residents in Daviess County to lower their flags to half-staff on Tuesday to honor Murphy and his service to the community.
