He also violated a no contact order that was issued out of Scott County.

On Tuesday, a woman came to the Sheriff's Department to report Cabage has slapped her in the face with an open hand in the presence of a 4-year-old and 1-year-old child.

The female attempted to leave the home and she says Cabage choked her and hit her in the face with his fist multiple times.

"As well as kicked her in the face at least once," says Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults. "At one point during the incident Mr. Cabage made threats to harm himself with a firearm and continued to prevent the victim from leaving the residence alone. The victim was eventually able to leave the residence and make a report."
