Last updated on Friday, November 10, 2017

(FRENCH LICK) - The American VeteransTraveling Tribute (AVTT) Traveling Vietnam Wall Opening Ceremony reminded attendees of family, history and American Freedom.

The 360' long and 8' tall wall is filled with the names of all 58,000-plus American service men and women who gave their lives in the Vietnam War.

Among the traveling Vietnam walls, this one is the largest standing at 80 percent scale to the real monument in Washington, D.C.

It is available to the public for free 24 hours a day from November 9th to November 12th at 3 p.m. Rubbing sheets will be provided for guests to etch names from the wall onto paper.

The ceremony honored 5 families in place of their loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Vietnam War.
