3rd Annual "Claus For Paws" Begins At ISP Bloomington Post

Last updated on Thursday, November 30, 2017

(BLOOMINGTON) - In an effort to give back to the community we serve, Indiana State Police personnel at the Bloomington Post have once again created a donation “doghouse” box “Claus for Paws”.

This "doghouse" will be used to collect items needed for sheltered pets at the CAnine REscue CARE Inc. in Jasonville.

The donation box will be set up in the lobby of the Bloomington Post at 1500 North Packinghouse Road throughout the Christmas Season.

The CAnine REscue CARE Inc. is particularly in need of dry cat food (preferably Purina), any brand of canned dog and cat food, non-clumping kitty litter, paper towels, bleach, treats, bedding and laundry soap. Monetary donations are also accepted and will go toward their medical fund. Other items that will gladly be accepted include collars, leashes, peanut butter and cheese whiz.

Donations to last year's 2nd Annual ISP Bloomington "Claus for Paws" drive resulted in over $1,000 in monetary donations, items and contributions, including another pet adoption.

The deadline for donations will be December 21. ISP will deliver your donations on Friday, December 22nd.
