(UNDATED) - Select Indiana state parks will close for four days in the coming weeks to allow for controlled deer reductions.
The dates for the temporary closings are Nov. 13-14, and Nov. 27-28.
Hunters who applied were picked through a lottery to participate in these reduction efforts, which the Indiana Department of Natural Resources says helps maintain animal and plant habitat in the end.
