(UNDATED) - Select Indiana state parks will close for four days in the coming weeks to allow for controlled deer reductions.

The dates for the temporary closings are Nov. 13-14, and Nov. 27-28.

The state park properties affected are :

  • Fort Harrison (archery only)
  • Harmonie

  • Spring Mill & Cave River Valley Natural Area (which are managed and drawn together)
  • Tippecanoe River
  • Trine State Recreation Area (archery only and managed by Pokagon State Park)
