25th Annual L.I.F.E Fantasia Will Be Held Saturday, December 2

(BEDFORD) - The 25th Annual L.I.F.E Fantasia will be held Saturday, December 2 at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.

Doors open 9 a.m. with the auction at Noon.

There will be decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, centerpieces and more available to the highest bidder.

L.I.F.E. (Life Interfaith Endeavor Inc.) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that was started in 1987. It is a cooperative ministry supported by over 40 churches throughout Lawrence County. The organization provides emergency food assistance every 30 days and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance.

More than $35,800 was raised last year - a record amount for the food pantry. The top-selling was a travel-themed tree donated by Williams Realtors. It sold for $2,050. One tree was a tall, flocked tree trimmed in gold, brown and white ornaments and decorated and donated by Parkview Intermediate School Student Council. It sold for $2,000. A total of 109 items were in the auction, all crafted and donated by members of the community.

The group is also seeking corporate sponsorships where 100 percent of the proceeds will support L.I.F.E. programs.
