(GREENE CO.) The Greene County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Solsberry man Monday afternoon after he sideswiped an Eastern Greene School Corporation School bus.
Authorities say 40-year-old Christopher Kelley was driving a Dodge Dakota south on north Legion Road when he encountered the northbound school bus on a hilltop swerved and crossed the center line sideswiping the bus. Kelley's vehicle then went into a culvert ditch on the north side of the road.
The bus, driven by 53-year-old Angela Snapp, of Bloomington, pulled off the side of the road. The bus had minor damage.
A child on the bus complained of neck pain and was taken to IU Health Hospital by parents.
Kelley was arrested for driving with a suspended driver's license and having no insurance.
