(OOLITIC) - An Oolitic woman was arrested after a domestic fight in the 600 block of 9th Street in Oolitic.
Lawrence County Police were called to the apartment at 1:45 p.m. after a woman called police saying 20-year-old Alexis Hollars had came to her home wanting to talk to her and there was a physical altercation.
The woman told dispatchers that she had locked herself inside the apartment and Hollars was banging on the door attempting to get in.
"On arrival the fight was over, but officer located the victim and Ms. Hollars," says Lawrence County Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults. "The victim informed officers that Hollars entered her apartment uninvited, pulled her hair and hit her with a closed fist causing pain and then threw her to the ground causing abrasions to her legs."
Hollars was arrested on a charge of battery and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
