(MONROE CO.) - A Monroe County man was arrested for a second time after he received a shipment of meth in a mannequin head.

According to an Indiana State Police report, the Indiana State Police All Crimes Enforcement Squad, (ACES) along with troopers from the Indiana State Police Drug Task Force completed an investigation that led to the arrest of a high-level meth dealer in Monroe County.

Police say Paxton Davis was smuggling those drugs through the mail hidden inside mannequin heads.

Investigators said Paxton was getting the meth packed mannequin heads through the mail in gift wrapped packages which were overnighted from southern California to Bloomington, Indiana. When he was arrested, police say he had more than 1000 grams of the drug, a street value of more than $75,000.

According to police, Davis was also arrested back in August when he was found with 300 grams of meth and $15,000 in cash, along with needles and 26 guns, two of which were found to be stolen.

Davis remains in the Monroe County Jail as a judge has not yet granted bond.

Anyone with information about the illegal sale of drugs can contact the Indiana State Police at (812) 332-4411. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
