(BEDFORD) - A Heltonville teen was injured in a crash in the 100 block of 16th Street Friday night.
According to a Bedford Police report, 16-year-old Gabriella Wilson was traveling west on 16th Street in a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt when she took her eyes off of the 2001 Ford F-150 that was traveling in front of her and hit the vehicle in the rear.
Wilson told police she didn't see the driver of the truck, 39-year-old Victoria Gabhart of Shoals, stop to turn into Jiffy Treet, because she was looking into the lot of the ice cream shop.
Wilson complained of body pain and was treated by medical personnel at the scene. Gabhart was not injured during the incident.
