(SEYMOUR) - A free Legal Aid Clinic will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 at MainSource Bank, 1130 E. Tipton St., Seymour.
The Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Program uses local volunteer attorneys for free legal consultations to low-income individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford an attorney.
Individuals will receive a 10-minute consultation to answer general questions, receive legal information or other limited assistance or advice in person on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no need to register in advance.
Legal Aid is a nonprofit agency providing free civil legal services, lawyer referrals and domestic violence-related legal representation in Pro Bono District I, which serves the residents of Jackson, Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jennings, Johnson, Rush and Shelby counties.
