Police Looking For Driver Who Crashed Into Ellettsville House

(ELLETTSVILLE) - Ellettsville Police are looking for a man who drove his truck through a home on the corner of McNeely Street and Crandall Avenue Saturday afternoon.

According to press release, the crash happened around 4:15 p.m. when a silver 2002 Nissan truck left the roadway, traveled through a yard, and crashed into the home.

The truck went through the front wall, continued into the garage area and came to a stop after breaking through part of the wall that separates the garage and master bedroom.

The residents were home when the accident occurred.

Witnesses told police they saw the male driver leave the scene through the garage door and flee. Witnesses recognized the driver and provided police with his name.

Police reports and a warrant request have been filed with the Monroe County Prosecutor's Office.
