(SPRINGVILLE) - A Springville man complained of neck pain after his vehicle was struck in the rear on State Road 54 West at Rueter Lane on Wednesday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 20-year-old Andrew Creech was traveling west on State Road 54 and was slowing to turn south on Rueter Lane when his 2011 Ford Fusion was struck in the rear by a 2013 Ford Escape driven by 22-year-old Quintel Cook of Indianapolis.
Cook told police he was traveling west on State Road 54 when the driver in front of him allegedly slammed on his brakes because he was going to miss his turn. Cook told police he attempted to go around Cook's car but there was on-coming traffic so he struck the car in front of him in the rear.
