Business Education Series On Drone Rules And Regulations

Last updated on Thursday, October 12, 2017

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Chamber announces a “Business Education Series” seminar on Drone Rules and Regulations presented by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The free seminar will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24th from Noon until 1 p.m. at the Bedford Chamber. Feel free to bring your own brown bag lunch.

An unmanned aircraft system (UAS), sometimes called a drone, is an aircraft without a human pilot onboard - instead, the UAS is controlled from an operator on the ground. When you fly a drone in the United States, it is your responsibility to understand and abide by the rules.

The FAA will be at the Bedford Chamber to discuss those rules as well as the fines associated with breaking those rules, for both the pilot and business.

For more information contact the Bedford Chamber at (812) 275-4493 or bedford@bedfordchamber.com
