(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are investigating the rape of 21-year-old woman.
The victim's mother called police at 2:30 a.m. Friday morning after the victim told her mother a 38-year-old male family friend allegedly raped her in his car.
The 21-year-old was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for a sexual assault examination.
The case remains under investigation.
