(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested after police say he stopped a car driving down an alley and demanded money.

Bloomington police arrested 48-year-old Doug Ferguson, at 8 p.m. Friday on charge of intimidation and public intoxication after he allegedly approached a car driving down an alley next to Nick's English Hut.

The driver told police that Ferguson told the driver that he had to pay $10 to drive through the alleyway or else he would be stabbed with a knife.
