Beatle Burgers Will Be Grilled Up Friday And Saturday

Last updated on Tuesday, October 3, 2017

(BEDFORD) - Beatle Burgers with their special sauce will be grilled up Friday and Saturday in the CVS Pharmacy Parking lot.

The sale of the popular burgers, named after "The Beatles" is the primary fundraiser for Clothe-A-Child Inc. The organization provides needed children in Lawrence County with a Christmas shopping spree.

The Bedford Jaycees "concocted" the beefy treats in the 1960s, and the Bedford Exchange Club inherited the saucy sandwiches when the Jaycees retired. Then the Clothe-A-Child volunteers took over serving up the burgers for a worthy cause.

The burgers will be cooked over charcoal briquettes when smothered with a "Magical Mystery" sauce while cooking which won't take "Any Time at All."

The grilling station will open Friday 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and you can "Come and Get It" again when the grill is fired up at from 11 a.m. until they sell out on Saturday.

Beatle Burgers are two for $4, four for $7, or a sack of 10 for $15.

In the event of rain, customers won't be in "Misery", a tent will be provided for customers to wait under for the "Ain't She Sweet" burgers.
