Wheelin' IN the Fish at Patoka Lake Saturday, September 16

(PATOKA LAKE) - The 16th annual “Wheelin’ IN the Fish”, hosted by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Patoka Bass Anglers, and Southern Indiana Center for Independent Living (SICIL), will be held at Osborn Boat Ramp, Patoka Lake on Saturday, September 16 from 10a.m. - 2p.m.

The event is free and promotes the participation of special needs fishers and their families to enjoy the accessible features of Patoka Lake.

Nursing homes, group homes, or in home health services - (or have family members in one of these facilities) are encouraged to bring their patrons outdoors and into the fun.

The event includes free fishing, free boat rides and free lunch. Everything needed to participate in the activities will be provided like fishing poles, tackle and refreshments. It is asked that participants bring sunscreen and lawn chairs.

There will be certificates and door prizes awarded to all participants.

Osborn Boat Ramp is located off Highway 145 just two miles north of the State Road 164 intersection and fourteen miles south of French Lick, Indiana. Watch for the signs.
