Last updated on Tuesday, September 26, 2017

(DAVIESS CO.) - An Evansville man and Bedford woman were arrested in Daviess County on a charge of public indecency.

Indiana Conservation Officers arrested 48-year-old Robert McCutcheon and 45-year-old Melissa Crane on the charge Sunday.

McCutheon was also charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and Crane is facing a charge of public intoxication.

Indiana Conservation Officers arrested the two after they found them boating on West Boggs Reservoir with an expired registration.

Conservation Officers observed the occupants of the boat in the state of nudity. An investigation determined McCutcheon showed signs of impairment.

Initial blood draw results showed McCutcheon to have a blood-alcohol content of 0.306 percent.

He was arrested without incident and booked into the Daviess County Security Center.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office also assisted with the investigation.

Indiana Conservation Officers remind the boating public that drunk driving laws also apply to watercraft operation.

Conviction for driving a boat while intoxicated can result in fines and costs, loss of driver's license, and loss of boating privileges.
