(HARDINGSBURG) - Two Washington County men died in an accident on Hardinsburg-Livonia Road Thursday morning.

25-year-old Jacob Voyles of Salem and 19-year-old Tyler Cook of Livonia were pronounced dead at the scene.

At 1:07 a.m., police and medical personnel were called to the Hardinsburg-Livonia Road, south of Posey Chapel Road, after a report of an accident with injuries.

Police say a Chevrolet Impala driven by Voyles was traveling north when it traveled over a hillcrest, ran off the road and struck several trees.

Cook was the front-seat passenger. Another passenger, 18-year-old Devin Cordero, of Salem, was taken to a hospital after complaining of pain.

Assisting at the scene were Livonia Fire Department and Washington County EMS.
