Police say Shirley Terry was driving east on Stonington Road, near Granny Road, in a 2010 Cadillac CT6 when a deer entered the roadway. Terry attempted to avoid hitting the deer and drove off Stonington Road onto Granny Road. She was unable to stop the car and ran off the roadway striking two mailboxes and a fence.
