More Than 40 People Arrested Thursday On Drug Related Charges

(WASHINGTON) - Around 6 a.m. Thursday, officers with the Washington Police Department, Indiana State Police and Drug Enforcement Administration arrested more than 40 people on drug-related warrants.

According to an Indiana State Police three law enforcement agencies were assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department, Knox County Sheriff's Department and Vincennes police and Odon police, as well as officers in Martin, Monroe and Greene counties in serving nearly four dozen warrants.

Also assisting were the U.S. Marshals, ATF, DEA, Daviess County Prosecutor's Office, Daviess County Superior Court, Knox County Prosecutor's Office and the Knox County Superior Court.

In all, more than 50 members of law enforcement worked the operation and by 3 p.m. had arrested more than 40 individuals - five individuals were arrested on non-warrant related charges. Six wanted individuals have yet to be located. Police say, all were arrested without incident.

Police say the investigation focused on meth, prescription drug and opioid distribution. Additional amounts of meth, heroin, marijuana, syringes, paraphernalia, and firearms were located during the investigation.

8. Austin Collins, 23, Washington, dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance

9. Betty Edmondson, 40, Washington, dealing meth, new charges of dealing meth, possession meth, reckless possession of paraphernalia

10. Justin Elenbaas, 19, Washington, conspiracy to commit dealing meth

11. Tiffany Emmons -Burchfield, 25, Vincennes, dealing in a look-a-like substance

12. James Fricke, 53, Washington, dealing meth

13. Mervin Graber, 31, Washington, two counts dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance

14. Ralph Haines, 21, Washington, new charge of visiting a common nuisance

15. Joshua Hambrick, 37, Washington, two counts dealing meth

16. Michael Hambrick, 35, Washington, two counts dealing meth and one count conspiracy to commit dealing meth
