Man Arrested After Police Dogs Find Drugs

(DUBOIS CO.) - An investigation led by the State Police All Crimes Policing team with assistance from Dubois County-K-9 officers ended with a Rockport man in jail.

The arrest came after police dogs discovered drugs in the parking lot of Kimball Logistics Warehouse in Santa Claus.

Two K-9 teams alerted police to possible drugs in a black 2007 Chrysler 300 Sedan, owned by 37-year-old Isaac Stewart of Rockport.

A third K-9 team also alerted police to drugs inside the warehouse the belonged to Stewart.

Police obtained a search warrant and found crystal meth, cocaine, marijuana, two types of legend drugs, two handguns, drug paraphernalia including a digital scale

Stewart was arrested on felony charges of dealing meth, possession of meth, two counts of possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of a legend drug and maintaining a common nuisance and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
