Male Hits Three Taco Bell Employees After Order Takes Too Long

Last updated on Wednesday, September 13, 2017

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police were called to the Taco Bell on North Walnut Street early Saturday morning after employees say they were assaulted by a man.

The man was upset because his order was taking too long and demanded a refund.

An employee tried to calm the man down. The man punched the employee once in the face and hit him a second time when the employee attempted to call police on his cell phone. The employee dropped the phone and when he reached to pick it up the man stomped on the phone and the employee's hand.

Two other employees attempted to intervene and they too were hit in the face. A customer then tried to intervene and the man attempted to hit them in the face, but failed.

The black male in his 20's with long hair and dark clothing then fled the restaurant.
