Loogootee Man Arrested After Stealing Scrap Metal From Jasper Business

(JASPER) - Police arrested a Loogootee man on Wednesday for theft.

Police arrested 44-year-old Charles Kline after employees of Forest Products Incorporated spotted a man removing scrap metal iron from the property. The employees confronted Kline and contacted authorities.

Police say Kline admitted stealing iron from the business twice before and selling it for $122.50.

He was arrested and booked into the Dubois County Jail where he posted bond that afternoon.
